News from League Two as the new Wycombe Wanderers 2017-18 goalkeeper kits made by O’Neills have been revealed, and there’s a reason behind the crazy designs!
The 2017-18 Wycombe Wanderers home GK jersey has a fluorescent yellow base colour which features a striking multi-coloured kaleidoscope pattern on the front, ‘which resembles a target to aim for – rather than the goal itself – and catches the eye with its disruptive magic-eye effect.’
The collar is pink and purple as is the Wycombe Wanderers badge on the left breast. Both the O’Neills logo on the right breast and the Beechdean Daily Ice Cream shirt sponsor are coloured navy.
The 17-18 Wycombe home goalkeeper kit is completed with fluorescent yellow shorts with pink trim and half pink half fluorescent yellow socks!
The Wycombe Wanderers 2017-18 away goalkeeper jersey is baby pink with light blue sleeves and collar. Both the O’Neills lettering and the away shirt sponsor, Utilita Energy are coloured black.
Both kits are designed to make the goalkeeper appear larger and more imposing when a striker is bearing down on goal.
