Watford FC have officially unveiled their new 2026-27 away kit, with Kelme delivering a striking design that pays tribute to the club’s traditional red and black colours. The new strip continues Kelme’s long-standing partnership with the Hornets and is set to be worn throughout the 2026-27 Sky Bet Championship season.

The away shirt features a classic striped look with broad red and black vertical panels, creating one of the cleanest and most traditional Watford away kits in recent years.
Classic Colours Return
The standout feature of the new Watford away jersey is its bold stripe pattern. Two vibrant red stripes sit either side of a central black stripe, while black side panels and raglan sleeves give the shirt a modern athletic fit.

Kelme keeps the detailing simple with a black crew neck collar and subtle red trim on the sleeve cuffs. The white KELME paw logo is positioned centrally above the Watford crest, with the BOXT sponsor displayed prominently across the chest in white.
The shirt also incorporates a subtle tonal graphic woven into the fabric, adding texture without distracting from the iconic striped design.
Inspired by Watford’s Identity
While the club’s home colours are traditionally yellow, red and black have long formed part of Watford’s visual identity. This away kit embraces those colours in a timeless design that feels both modern and unmistakably Watford.

The minimalist approach allows the club crest to stand out, while the clean colour palette gives the jersey a premium appearance that supporters are likely to appreciate both on and off the pitch.
Kelme Continues Its Partnership
The 2026-27 campaign marks another season of Kelme supplying Watford’s kits, with the Spanish manufacturer continuing to produce distinctive designs for the Hornets. Following the release of the club’s retro-inspired home shirt earlier this summer, the away kit offers a completely different aesthetic with its bold striped appearance.
