Yesterday Liverpool Legends Robbie Fowler and Jason McAteer revealed the new Liverpool 2014/15 away kit live on Google Hangout.
The unveiling came prior to Liverpool’s post season friendly against Shamrock Rovers in Dublin a game in which they wore the new yellow strip.
Liverpool’s 2014/15 away jersey has a yellow base colour but features a red wave that goes across the top of the chest and down the sides.
It loosely resembles Liverpool’s 2006/07 away kit which was made by Adidas except the ‘waves’ are thick.
A red Warrior logo is placed on the right breast with the LFC crest appearing on the left. Standard Chartered again sponsor the Merseyside club and have their name in the middle of the jersey coloured red.
A ’96’ beside two burning flames is placed below the collar on the back of the shirt to remember the fans who tragically lost their lives at Hillsborough.
The new 2014/15 Liverpool away kit is completed with yellow shorts with a red stripe down each side and yellow socks with a thin red hoop at the top.
