Vitesse 2023-24 Airborne Kit Released

Football kit news from the Netherlands as the new Vitesse 2023-24 Airborne kit made by Robey has been released.

The new 2023-24 Vitesse Airborne kit is inspired by September 18th 1944, the second day of ‘Operation Market Garden’ when the seventh battalion The King’s Own Scottish Borderers landed on the Ginkelse Heide near Ede. Ninety percent of the battalion’s paratroopers landed within the drop zone.

The 2023-24 Vitesse Airborne shirt is dedicated to the landmark ‘Windows on the Past’ on the Ginkelse Heide near Ede. It is made up of claret and blue stripes with lines claret coloured lines running through the blue stripes representing the threads of the parachutes and the lines of gunshots fired at the paratroopers.

Inside the neckline is ‘Lest We Forget’ and ‘Ede, September 18, 1944’ text.

On the back of the neck is blue ‘Vensters op het verleden’ text with an image of a plane underneath.
