VfL Bochum 2022-23 Rainbow Shirt Released

Football kit news from Germany as a special limited edition VfL Bochum 2022-22 Rainbow shirt made by Mizuno has been released.

The limited edition 2022-23 VfL Bochum rainbow jersey is inspired by the classic shirts worn by the club between 1997-99 which featured a rainbow design.

The rainbow colours also show the clubs support of diversity in football and that it is a game for all no matter what your gender, religion, ethnic origin or sexual preference.

The shirt is predominantly black with tonal zigzag pinstripes running vertically down the front.

The Mizuno logos on the right breast and sides of the shoulders are coloured rainbow as is the clubs badge on the left breast and the shirt sponsor in the centre of the front.

A black monochrome Bundesliga badge is placed on the side of the right sleeve.

In the bottom left corner of the front is a special hologram tag that shows the individual shirt number out of the 4,630 shirts released.

On the back of the neck is the year the club were formed ‘1848’ in rainbow colours.

VfL Bochum will wear the rainbow jersey when they face Borussia Mönchengladbach in the final Bundesliga home game of the year on Tuesday 8th November 2022.
