During last nights Carabao Cup third round tie at Goodison Park both Sunderland and Everton wore special shirts to raise awareness of the newly formed Bradley Lowery Foundation.
Both Dafabet and Sportspesa donated their usual shirt sponsor space to the new charity to help raise awareness whilst the matchworn shirts will be signed by the players and auctioned off by the Bradley Lowery Foundation to help raise funds.
Ahead of the game Gemma Lowery said, “We are absolutely thrilled to see the Foundation logo on the front of the shirts. The game has a very special meaning to myself and Carl and we are overwhelmed by the support we have received from Sunderland and Everton.
“Bradley will be watching over everyone and I’m sure he would be very proud that his legacy can now help others.”
Bradley sadly passed away in July aged just six after battling neuroblastoma for a number of years. Despite his illness Bradley Lowery will always remembered by me and football fans Worldwide for his positive attitude and infectious smile. RIP little man.
