Special Fortuna Sittard 2024-25 Fernando Ricksen Shirt

Football kit news from the Netherlands as a special Fortuna Sittard 2024-25 Fernando Ricksen kit has been released.

Today marks the fifth anniversary since Fortuna Sittard legend Fernando Ricksen lost his battle against the disease ALS and to honour the club icon the Dutch side have released a special kit.

The shirt is inspired by the colours he wore at Rangers FC and sees a blue jersey featuring thin tonal stripes.

Both the collar and cuffs are blue with red trim.

A white Robey Sports logo is placed on the right breast with the Winkel hart Sittard shirt sponsor also coloured white.

The standout feature of the shirt is a special holographic Fortuna Sittard badge which features a silhouette of Fernando Ricksen from various angles.

On the top of the back is Ricksen’s motto ‘Never Give Up’ coloured white.

White shorts with blue socks complete the kit.
