Special Edition Schalke 04 Third Shirt 2021-22 Released

After wearing the 2021-22 third shirt with the Gazprom shirt sponsor covered over with ‘Schalke 04’ text during the 1-1 draw with Karlsruhe over the weekend, Schalke 04 have decided to sell off the third shirts with the Russian energy firms logo covered to supporters.

After the game the club received a number of inquiries from fans to see if the jerseys would be available to buy, and although it wasn’t their initial intention the club have obliged.

The club clearly state that the original Gazprom shirt sponsor is covered over to feature the ‘Schalke 04’ text across the chest whilst the match details are placed beneath the Umbro logo on the right breast, covering the top of the Gazprom logo.

This morning Schalke 04 announced that they have terminated their sponsorship deal with the Gazprom after Russia invaded Ukraine.
