International football kit news this morning as the much anticipated special edition Scotland 150th anniversary shirt made by Adidas has been released this morning.

The new Scotland 150th anniversary jersey is inspired by the very first kit worn when they faced England in their first ever match back in 1872.

The shirt is predominantly dark blue with a thick white collar.

A tonal Adidas logo is placed on the right breast with the gold Lion Rampant placed on a tonal shield to match the look of the first football shirts worn by the Scotland national team.

The striped cuffs are a tribute to Queen’s Park FC who formed the majority of the earliest Scotland teams.

A special boxed Scotland 150th anniversary shirt will be released on March 30th that will contain the shirt, a commemorative coin and a miniature blended malt whiskey.
Only 873 will be made available.
Scotland men’s national team will debut the 150th anniversary kit when they face Cyprus on Saturday 25th March during the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier and again when they face England on 12 September.
