News from the Dutch Eredivisie as a special SBV Vitesse Airborne kit 2016 made by Macron has been released to honour the British 1st Airborne Division.
For a number of years Vitesse have released a special ‘Airborne kit’ to honour the British 1st Airborne Division who fought in World War II’s Battle of Arnhem.

The Dutch side swap their traditional yellow and black home colours for claret and blue, the colours worn by the British 1st Airborne Division during battle.

Vitesse’s 2016 Airborne shirt has a claret base colour with tonal horizontal stripes running across the jersey that get thinner as you go down the shirt.
There’s is blue trim under the armpit area and on the back.
‘Lest We Forget’ lettering is placed on the top of the back with a special Airborne badge on the side of the right shoulder.
Truphone have their name in the middle of the football shirt coloured white.
Blue shorts and socks with claret trim complete the 2016 Vitesse Airborne kit.
