Football kit news from the Sky Bet Championship this morning as two retro Rotherham United shirts have been released by the club in time for Christmas.
The first retro Rotherham United shirt is a replica of that worn by the club during the 1995-96 season and worn famously during the 1996 Auto Windscreens Shield triumph over Shrewsbury Town.
The 1995-96 Rotherham United shirt has a red body with a thin white crosshatch pattern whilst the sleeves are white.
The collar is red with black and white trim. Rotherham United’s badge is placed in the centre of the chest.
The second retro Rotherham United shirt released is a replica of that worn by the club between 1988 and 1990.
Rotherham gained promotion in the 1988-99 season.
The jersey has a red base colour with thin red pinstripes running down the football shirt.
Both the collar and the trim at the start of the sleeves are coloured white.
