Football kit news from the Championship as the new Reading FC 2022-23 Macron away kit has been officially unveiled this morning.

As with the home shirt the new Reading away shirt 2022-23 is inspired by climate change, specifically in Berkshire.

The new 2022-23 Reading away shirt is pink (rose quartz) and features tonal stripes running across the front representing the temperatures in Berkshire over a 150 year period.

The lighter stripes are near the top of the jersey when temperatures were cooler whilst darker stripes are near the bottom of the jersey showing the rising temperatures in recent years.

Both the collar and cuffs are coloured black as is the Macron logo on the right breast and the Select Car Leasing shirt sponsor in the centre of the front.

On the left breast is a monochrome Reading FC badge.
