Football kit news from the Championship as the special Reading FC 150th anniversary legends kits made by Macron have been unveiled.

On Saturday afternoon Steve Coppell’s record breaking side will take on Brian McDermott’s title winning side in a special legends match to celebrate the club’s 150th anniversary.

With the help of Macron, Reading FC have secured previous shirt sponsors Waitrose and Kyocera to sponsor the legends shirts in a nod to two memorable promotion winning campaigns.

The 2021-22 Reading 150th anniversary legends home shirt is made up of blue and white hoops with the blue hoops featuring tonal blue horizontal pinstripes.
A white Macron logo is placed on the right breast with a white monochrome Reading FC crest on the left breast.
In between the two are the match details.
The home shirt is sponsored by Kyocera.

The 150th anniversary Reading FC legends away shirt is predominantly red with tonal diagonal stripes running across the front.
Both the Macron logo on the right breast and the Reading FC crest on the left breast are coloured white as is the Waitrose shirt sponsor.

The matchworn Reading legends shirts will be auctioned off by matchwornshirt.com with the money raised going to No5 Young People, a community based organisation that have been supporting the young people of Reading since 1971.
