Football kit news from Argentina as a special limited edition Racing Club 170th anniversary 2022-23 kit made by Kappa has been unveiled.

The kit celebrates the 170th anniversary of playing football in the city of Avellaneda and sees a dark blue jersey featuring a navy graphic on the front inspired by iconic locations in the city including the club’s stadium.

Also included are the phrases ‘Racing és Avellaneda’, ‘1903’ (the year the club were formed) and ‘170 años’.

The collar and cuffs are light blue as is the Kappa logo on the right breast and the Aeroset shirt sponsor.

On the left breast is a retro light blue monochrome badge which reads ‘Racing Football Club Avellaneda’

A further nod to the club’s 170th anniversary appears on the top of the back.
