Football kit news from the Premier League as they have announced that there will be a ban on gambling shirt sponsors from the end of the 2025-26 season.

Premier League clubs have agreed collectively to withdraw gambling sponsorship voluntarily from the front of matchday shirts to reduce gambling advertising.

The Premier League are the first UK sports league to take the step an will work with other sports to reduce gambling sponsorship.

The new rules take place from the end of the 2025-26 season so clubs who currently have gambling shirt sponsorship deals can transition to non gambling sponsorship deals.
