Football kit news from the NWSL as earlier this week the new Portland Thorns FC 2023 away kit made by Nike was unveiled.

The 2023 Portland Thorns away jersey has a cream base colour with a unique tattoo inspired rose and thorn design on the top of the chest and the shoulders.

In the centre of the chest, protected by the rose and thorns is the clubs original crest on top of a dagger.

On top of the dagger are the are Roman numerals in a nod to the year 2023 when the club were formed.

At the base of the dagger is a dark green Nike logo with the Providence shirt sponsor beneath also coloured dark green.

On the right side of the dagger is a banner that reads ‘Rose City’ whilst on the left side the banner reads ‘Till I Die’.
