Mkhitaryan To Have Two Shirt Numbers

Arsenal’s new signing from Manchester United will wear two different shirt numbers during the remainder of the 2017-18 season.

The Armenian playmaker will wear the number 7 shirt vacated by Alexis Sanchez during the Premier League fixtures but because the Chilean forward wore the number during the Europa League victory against Cologne in September, UEFA rules state that Mkhitaryan must wear a different number for the remainder of the Europa League campaign.

Mkhitaryan’s Europa League number is yet to be announced.
