Football kit news from Germany as the new Mainz 05 Kappa Carnival kit 2020-21 has been officially unveiled despite the Carnival not taking place in its usual guise this year due to Covid 19.

With each sale of the 2020-21 Mainz 05 Carnival shirt the club will make a contribution to the local Mainz pubs which are struggling because of the pandemic.

The Mainz 05 carnival shirt 2020-21 is made up of red, white, blue and yellow diagonal stripes, the colours traditionally used at Mainz Carnival.
The sleeves are coloured red whilst the cuffs are white with a red Kappa logo on the side.
The crew neck collar is coloured white with thin red trim.
A red Kappa logo is placed on the right breast whilst the Mainz 05 badge is placed on the left breast.

The club will also use the jersey to thank the 2019-20 season ticket holders who waived their refund on the season tickets by having their name embossed on the back of the football shirt coloured red.
The Mainz city coat of arms is placed on the back of the neck.
