Maccabi Tel-Aviv To Manufacture 2017-18 Kits In House

News from Israel this morning as Maccabi Tel-Aviv have announced that they will manufacture their own football kits in house from the start of the 2017-18 season.

The clubs current deal with Adidas runs out at the end of the 2016-17 season, but instead of extending the current contract or finding a new manufacturer the Israeli side have opted to design and produce their own kits in house.

Consultants who have worked with some of the Worlds leading brands will work with the players to help design the Maccabi Tel-Aviv 2017-18 kits.

Club owner Mitch Goldhar said “The Israeli league like other similar size markets are not being offered the range of kit as in other European countries by the large brand manufacturers. Producing our own kit will give us the flexibility we need. The Maccabi Tel Aviv FC Brand will offer a first class quality that our fans deserve.“

Jordi Cruyff the clubs Sports Director said “This move demonstrates more than ever the collaboration of all parties involved to supply garments to fit the players’ needs. This is an innovative process where we all join forces to award both players and fans with the best ever product.”
