Liverpool FC Announce Western Union As Sleeve Sponsor

Football kit news from the English Premier League this morning as Liverpool FC have announced Western Union as the clubs first ever sleeve sponsor.

Liverpool have agreed a multi year deal with Western Union who are the leading global payment and money transfer services. The deal will see the Western Union logo feature on the side of the left sleeve on the new Liverpool shirts 2017-18.

As part of the deal Western Union will offer fast, easy digital payments and money transfers for Liverpool Football club and its supporters, linking them to their home communities or to virtually anywhere in the World. 

Billy Hogan the chief commercial officer and managing director at Liverpool FC said, “Western Union is an instantly recognisable brand with a truly global footprint and we are absolutely delighted to welcome them as our first ever shirt-sleeve Sponsor and official principal partner.

“We are very much looking forward to working with Western Union through this partnership to create new experiences and opportunities for our fans both in the UK and abroad.”

Western Union’s logo is the first to appear on the shirt sleeves and only the sixth sponsor to appear on the LFC shirt since the club was formed back in 1892.
