During tonight’s League One clash with MK Dons at The Valley tonight, Charlton Athletic will wear a special shirt to pay tribute to lifelong supporter PC Keith Palmer who tragically lost his life in last months terror attack on Westminster.
Prior to kick off PC Palmer’s brother will lead out the two sides on to the pitch then 22 of his colleagues from the TSG and Parliamentary Protection units will stand together with the Charlton and MK Dons players for a minutes silence.
Charlton Athletic will donate 50% of ticket sales to PC Palmer’s family whilst the players will donate their full match fees.
The Charlton players will wear special football shirts that feature the match details and ‘In memory of PC Keith Palmer’ in the centre of the chest whilst the left cuff will feature Keith’s Police warrant number, ‘P204752’ on the side.
