Charlton Athletic 25th Anniversary Valley Kit

Football kit news from League One as a special limited edition Charlton Athletic home kit made by Hummel has been released to mark the 25th Anniversary of the club returning to The Valley.

The Charlton Athletic 2017 limited edition kit was designed with the input of supporters and closely resembles the strip The Addicks wore on their return to SE7 on December 5th 1992 where they beat Portsmouth 1-0 thanks to a Colin Walsh goal. The time and date of Walsh’s goal is printed on the bottom hem of the back of the shirt.

The shirt has a red base colour and features the famous Hummel chevrons embedded as a pattern running throughout the jersey. The collar is white and features a single button.

Inside the neckline are the names of all the players that represented the club during the 1992/93 season.

White Hummel lettering is placed on the right breast with the Charlton Athletic badge on the left.

Club sponsors Betdaq, ITRM and Gaughan gave up their logo space so the kit could closely resemble that worn 25 years ago.

Only 500 of these shirts will be made available and will retail at £75. Each shirt will come in a individually numbered presentation box and a certificate of authenticity.

The Addicks will wear the one of strip during the League One fixture against Portsmouth on December 9th.
