This morning the new Adidas Arsenal x TFL 2021-22 pre match shirt has been officially unveiled, confirming the previous leaked images on The Kitman.
The new Arsenal Transport For London (TFL) range 2021-22 made by Adidas celebrates Arsenal station, the only underground tube station to be named after a football club.
Formally known as Gillespie Road the name change happened on October 31st 1932 after manager Herbert Chapman wanted supporters to know how to easily see the team whilst cementing the identity of the club in the local area.
The 2021-22 Arsenal TFL range is inspired by the seat pattern which appears on the Piccadilly Line trains that run through Arsenal station.
Both the Adidas logo on the right breast and the Emirates Fly Better shirt sponsor are coloured white.
On the left breast is a monochrome Arsenal FC badge.
The pattern continues on the back of the jersey whilst an Arsenal Station logo is placed on the top of the back.
Other items in the TFL range include a warmup top and tracksuit bottoms.
The Arsenal squad will wear the 2021-22 TFL pre match range for the remainder of the season.
