AC Milan Announce Puma Kit Deal

News from Italy’s Serie A as AC Milan have officially announced Puma as their kit supplier on a long-term deal.

AC Milan announced in October 2017 that they had mutually terminated their current kit deal with Adidas prematurely.

The Adidas deal began on 1st July 1998 and will end on July 1st 2018 bringing an end to the 20 year partnership.

Although no details have yet been disclosed the new Puma deal is on a long-term contract and is rumored to be worth less than the current Adidas deal.

Bjørn Gulden the Chief Executive Officer at PUMA said, “We are very proud to be partnering with AC Milan. They are one of the most successful clubs in the Football history with a large, global fan base and the team and their fans show the true spirit of football. If you ask me, the Rossoneri jersey is one of the most iconic jerseys in football. We are looking forward to the next chapter of this legendary football club being with PUMA“.

Marco Fassone the AC Milan CEO said, “I am very pleased to announce our partnership with PUMA, to whom we are bound by mutual esteem and by our common passion for sports and football values. They represent a major international brand and we will be proceeding together in the next few football seasons in our strategic pathway striving to reach new and extraordinary goals off and on the pitch”.
