Kit news from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as it appears Mexico will have to wear a white 3rd strip for at least one group match due to FIFA regulations.
We revealed a few weeks back that current World Cup holders Spain would have to wear an all white kit against Netherlands in tonight’s Group B match due to the fact the Spanish kits are not distinguishable enough in colour.
It now appears Mexico will have to wear a white Adidas strip as their green home kit and orange away kit are not distinguishable enough from other teams in the group including today’s opponents Cameroon.
The new Adidas Mexico 2014 third shirt has the same design as the home kit with the Mexican Power graphic across the chest with the Mexico badge in the middle although the obvious difference is the white base colour.
