Rumours have been circling on social media for a number of months but today the deal was made official. Umbro replace Adidas who have manufactured The Hammers football kits for the last two seasons.

Umbro return as West Ham’s kit supplier after previously having them back in the 1960s and more recently between 2007 and 2010.

Although no financial details have been made public the West Ham and Umbro deal will run from the 2015-16 season until 2020-21.

West Ham United Vice-Chairman Karren Brady went on to say “It is our determination to bring back those glory days of the 1960s when we move to our magnificent new Stadium, and we look forward to doing so in partnership with Umbro, whose commitment to the highest standards of excellence and quality matches our own.”

Umbro will manufacture the last ever kits to be worn at The Boleyn Stadium (formally Upton Park) before they move to the Olympic Stadium for the 2016/17 season.
