Villarreal 2016-17 Joma Shirts Include Shazam Technology

Last month the new Villarreal 2016-17 kits made by Joma were revealed by the Spanish side and they include Shazam technology.

Shazam is an app that not only identifys music but it also features visual recognition technology that allows images to be identified. For the first time on a football shirt, the Villarreal crest will be be scannable and offer an audio guide to the cities they visit prior to their UEFA Champions League matches.

Different audio guides will be unlocked depending on Villarreal’s progression through the competition.

Villarreal will find out who will be in their UEFA Champions League group later this week.
