During Spurs 4-3 win over Leicester at White Hart Lane earlier today the players wore a special charity shirt sponsor bearing the ‘China Youth Football Development’ name and logo.
Two young Chinese children Mo Wenmin and Yang Huiyan aged fourteen and eleven respectively left their rural village in Guangdong to experience a once on a lifetime trip to North London.
The pair enjoyed a football session yesterday with girls their age from Nightingale Academy in Enfield. The session was led by coaches from Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Spurs Ladies whilst special guests Ledley King, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli also joined in.
Today the two girls were mascots prior to the 4-3 win over Leicester City in a match where Harry Kane scored his first Premier League hat trick following on from his first senior England call up earlier in the week.
The Tottenham Hotspur 2014/15 home football shirts featuring the charity logo will be auctioned off to raise money to create further sporting opportunities for the disadvantaged youth across China.
