Football kit news from the Premier League as as episode 4 of the Amazon Prime ‘This is Newcastle United’ documentary confirms that the club have agreed a deal with Adidas from the 2024-25 season which will be the ‘biggest commercial deal ever done’ by the club.

Episodes 3 and 4 of the documentary were inadvertently added to Amazon Prime earlier today before being deleted.

Halfway through episode four Amanda Staveley, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, Abdulmajid Ahmed Alhagbani, Darren Eales, and Peter Silverstone are seen flying out to negotiate with the German brand and close the deal.

The group seem excited by the deal with Ghodoussi saying that it’s like “two old lovers getting back together”.

Adidas will replace Castore at the end of the 2023-24 season.
