News from the Premier League as Brighton are offering supporters the chance to trade in their old football shirts for the new 2022-23 shirt with partners American Express.

To celebrate American Express being the club’s sponsor for 10 year, they have created an initiative in which 250 Brighton supporters will have the opportunity to trade in an old Brighton football shirt for a voucher up to the value of a brand new 2022-23 shirt, with the old jerseys being donated to KitAid, who distribute the shirts to both adults and children in the worlds poorest countries.

Beverly Sawyers the Senior Vice President at American Express said, “It’s been a real privilege to support Brighton & Hove Albion over the past ten seasons, and a pleasure to watch the club’s incredible fans enjoy what could be their most successful season yet.
“The support and passion of the fans is so important to the club and we wanted to round off a historic season by giving back to them. We can’t wait to see them in the stands again next year, loud and proud in their new shirts.”
American Express will accept any wearable officially Brighton football shirts from the 2011-12 season onwards.
