Swansea City Chinese New Year Shirt 2018

This weekend Swansea City will wear a commemorative version of their 2017-18 Joma home shirt against Burnley that will see the LeTou logo replaced with Chinese characters.

With a strong Chinese community in Swansea, players Tammy Abraham, Renato Sanches and Ki Sung-Yueng got involved in Chinese cooking and language lessons as part of the 2018 Chinese New Year celebrations.

Swans chief operating officer Chris Pearlman said, “We have spoken before about the importance of Asia as a key market for Swansea and indeed other Premier League clubs.

“We’re delighted to have worked with LeTou to commemorate Chinese New Year with a special shirt which embraces the language of that nation.”
