Football kit news from the Eredivisie in the Netherlands as a special limited edition Stanno 2020 RKC Waalwijk Carnival shirt was revealed at 11:11am on 11th February 2020.
The RKC Waalwijk carnival jersey 2020 takes its inspiration from the colours used at the Schoenlapperslaand Carnival which takes place in the city later this month.
The jersey is white with a combination of red, yellow and blue circles running from the lower chest to the hem. A white triangular gradient pattern appears at the top.
Blue trim appears on the right side of the collar and the left cuff whilst the left side of the collar and the right cuff are coloured yellow.
Both the Stanno logo on the right breast and the Willy Naessens Industriebouw shirt sponsor are coloured red.
On the left breast is a special red, yellow and blue version of the RKC Waalwijk crest.
A white stripe runs down the sides of the jersey. On the right side is red “We Zullen Altijd Blijven Zingen” wording that translates as “We Will Always Keep Singing”, which refers to the clubs supporters whilst on the left side is red “Strijd. Passie. Dorst.” lettering which translates as “Fight. Passion. Thirst.”.
The red, yellow and blue circled pattern also appears on the back of the football shirt as well as the ‘Van Mossel’ sponsor which is coloured red.
RKC Waalwijk will wear the Carnival kit when they face Sparta Rotterdam on 21st February.
