News from the English Premier League as a special Brighton ‘Thank You NHS’ shirt made by Nike has been released.
The special edition Brighton FC shirt 2019-20 sees American Express give up their space in the centre of the football shirt to make room for the Thank You NHS logo.
In addition a ‘Thank You Key Workers’ badge is placed on the side of the left sleeve.
A number of the shirts will be donated to frontline NHS staff at the seven NHS trusts in Suffolk whilst a limited number will be made available for public sale.
All profits from the shirt sales will go to NHS charities via the Albion As One fund.
Brighton & Hove Albion chief executive Paul Barber said, “Every day we are grateful for the incredible sacrifices being made by frontline healthcare and other key workers up and down the country.
“We wanted to show our thanks and boost the new charitable fund, Albion As One, and we felt this was the best way to show just how proud we are of the NHS and all key workers.”
