Football kit news from Argentina as Emiliano Sala’s boyhood club revealed a special tribute shirt made by Kalcomax to honour the clubs former striker.
San Martín de Progreso who have renamed their 2000 capacity stadium after the Argentine have revealed a commemorative kit to honour Sala who was just four when he joined the club.
The 2019 San Martín Sala shirt is made up of the clubs traditional red and black stripes but the red stripes feature a total of 93 black lines to represent the 93 goals Sala scored in his professional career.
In the bottom left corner is ‘Toujours Emi por Siempre’ lettering and an outlines of the badges of the clubs he represented, including Cardiff City.
On the bottom left corner of the jersey is an image of Sala and again the outlines of the badges of the clubs he represented.
