Football kit news from France as yesterday the new Red Star FC 2021-22 Kappa kits made in collaboration with Amsterdam based fashion brand, Daily Paper, were officially released.
Over recent seasons Red Star FC have made a name for themselves in the kit world with their collaborations which have led to so striking shirts, but the 2021-22 Red Star FC jerseys could be the most innovative yet!
The front of the new Red Star home shirt 2021-22 is white with a subtle tonal pattern, whilst the shoulders, sleeves and side panels are green with a subtle tonal pattern.
Where the two colours meet is a roughy edge effect.
Red trim appears on the outside edge of the cuffs.
A green Kappa logo is placed on the right breast with the Linked Out shirt sponsor in the centre of the football shirt.
This is where things get interesting as the Red Star FC badge on the left breast is actually velcro so additional badges will be released and can be stuck on top of the clubs badge for causes close to their heart.
Already released are the badges “Notre Cœur Notre Force” (Our Heart Our Strength), “Bauer” and “Refugees Welcome”, with more to be released during the 2021-22 season.
The back of the jersey is predominantly green with a subtle tonal pattern.
On the back of the neck is the Daily Paper name and logo.
The 2021–22 Red Star FC away shirt has the same template as the home jersey but sees the front coloured orange whilst the sleeves, shoulders and side panels are coloured claret.
A claret coloured Kappa logo is placed on the right breast whilst the Linked Out shirt sponsor is coloured white.
As with the home jersey the badge is velcro.
The back of the football shirt is predominantly claret with a subtle tonal pattern.
On the back of the neck is orange Daily Paper text and logo.
