Real Sociedad 2020 Copa Del Rey Final Shirt Review

This evening Real Sociedad face Club Athletic in the delayed 2020 Copa Del Rey Final in an all Basque affair so The Kitman decided to take a closer look at the stunning Real Sociedad Cup Final shirt.

As soon as I saw the Real Sociedad 2020 Copa Del Rey Final kit I knew I’d have to try and add the shirt to my collection, it’s a belter!

The blue and white stripes are a perfect width for me, not too to thick, not too thin, not only that but they continue on the sleeves and down the back of the football shirt.

Another nice touch is that seven of the blue stripes, four on the front and three on the back feature individual match results on route to the final embossed in a tonal blue including the 2-0 win over R.C.D. Espanyol and the thrilling 4-3 win over Real Madrid.

The centre stripe on the front features a thin gold border with tonal ‘Real Sociedad’ text running down it.

In the bottom left corner of the front ‘MPerformanceSystem’ is printed silver whilst in the bottom right corner is a silver printed badge that features the Macron text and the club crest.

On the right breast is a gold embroidered Macron Hero logo.

On the left breast is an embroidered Real Sociedad crest with a gold outline, I love this classic looking crest anyway but that gold border adds to it, it’s beautiful!

Loving the three buttoned pop collar and the joint Macron and Real Sociedad tab inside the neckline.

Another nice touch is the thin gold, blue and dark blue trim which appears on the edges of the collar and the cuffs.

Printed gold Macron logos are placed on the sides of the shoulders whilst a large gold and white Reale Seguros logo is printed on the side of the left sleeve.

Now for my favourite bit, the Basque Flag appears on the sides of the cuffs as well as on the back of the neck, a nice touch for the all Basque final with Club Athletic or Athletic Bilbao to you and me!

I absolutely love the special edition Real Sociedad 2020 Copa Del Rey Final shirt! It instantly became of my favourite shirts in the collection, its simple but with so many subtle details, including the embossed match results from the cup run and I love the addition of the Basque flags.
