New from the Championship as a limited edition Reading Comic Relief 2019 kit made by Puma has just been officially revealed.
The Reading owners, Mr Yongge Dai and Ms Xiu Li Dai, are offering the clubs supporters the chance to pick up a one-off limited edition kit to help raise money for Comic Relief 2019. What’s more each shirt whether it be in an adult or children’s size will cost just £5 with all proceeds going to Comic Relief! The club have also announced that they will leave the price tag off the shirts sold in store so supporters can donate anything above the minimum £5 for the limited edition jersey.
The 2019 Reading Comic Relief shirt is predominantly red with a gold stripe running along the top of each sleeve.
The ‘V’ at the bottom of the collar is also coloured gold as is the Puma logo on the right breast and the Reading FC crest on the left breast.
Carabao Energy Drink have their logo in the centre of the football shirt.
Red shorts and socks with gold details complete the limited edition Reading Comic Relief kit 2019.
The Reading first team players will train in the kits on Red Nose Day on March 15th 2019, with the signed jerseys auctioned off to raise more funds.
You can buy the limited edition Reading kit from the club shop and official online website from March 1st.
Unable to buy online as website crashed. Went to Megastore, waited 4 hours only to be told the shop will close as sold out. Megastore staff allowed others to buy in bulk, these are now being sold for a profit £200 on eBay. Total shambles…
Hi Sarah,
Wow really! That’s not good! I wonder if the people selling them on eBay will be sending the profits to charity! I doubt it! Do you mind if we use your message on our social media platforms to raise awareness?
