This original 1998-99 Manchester United Third Shirt was made by Adidas and comes in a kids size 146, approximately a Boys Medium.
The shirt features Manchester United’s classic late-1990s third kit design and has official Parker #7 printing on the back.
Why is this in our Ruined Shirts section? The printing is genuine, but the number is historically incorrect. Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker wore number 2 during his time at Old Trafford rather than number 7.
That unusual printing makes this a particularly interesting example for collectors, while also making it considerably cheaper than a correctly printed version.
Manchester United wore this third shirt during the famous 1998-99 Treble-winning season, when Sir Alex Ferguson’s side won the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
This is an original pre-owned Manchester United football shirt with an incorrect player number and is therefore being sold as part of our Ruined Shirts collection.
