Original Manchester United Umbro home shirt from the 1996-98 seasons, presented here in Large Boys.

One of the most recognisable Manchester United shirts of the 1990s, the design features the club’s traditional red colours with darker patterned sleeves and a distinctive black, grey and white fold-over collar. Subtle Manchester United detailing runs through the fabric, while the famous “Theatre of Dreams” wording appears towards the lower front.

The shirt features the Manchester United crest, Umbro branding and the iconic Sharp sponsor across the front.

This is an original vintage shirt from the era rather than a modern reproduction. The original Umbro labels remain intact, with the sizing label confirming Large Boys – 76-81cm chest / 156cm height. The shirt was Made in England.

The 1996-97 season saw Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United retain the Premier League title, with the squad featuring players including Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Peter Schmeichel.
