1979 Arsenal v Manchester United FA Cup Final Programme
Original official souvenir programme from the 1979 FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Manchester United, played at Wembley Stadium on 12 May 1979.
The match became one of the most dramatic FA Cup Finals in Wembley history and is often remembered as the “Five-Minute Final”. Arsenal led 2-0 through goals from Brian Talbot and Frank Stapleton before Manchester United staged a remarkable late comeback to level the match at 2-2.
With extra time seemingly inevitable, Alan Sunderland scored Arsenal’s dramatic winning goal to secure a 3-2 victory and the FA Cup for the Gunners.
An original programme from a classic Wembley final and an excellent piece of Arsenal, Manchester United and FA Cup memorabilia.
