Plymouth Argyle Home Kit 2016-17 'Too Green'?

The Plymouth Argyle manager claims that the lighting at Home Park on evening kick offs as well as the green seats, green pitch and green home strip makes it hard for the players to stand out.

Derek Adams explained why Plymouth have worn white socks in recent matches saying, “We have an issue with the strip.”

We have changed to white socks because we feel the strip is too green.”

He added: “The green on green with the pitch, and with the seating as well, does blend in. We just need a greater brightness to see people.”

Adams also revealed details about the Plymouth Argyle 2017-18 home kit confirming that discussions have already taken place about the design.

He said: “The club have already done that. They have put that in for next season.”

“Everybody will be pleasantly surprised with the home and away kit.”

“I don’t know if it will be a different shade of green, but a different design to this season.”

Football League clubs are aloud to use a change kit at home once per season.
