Palermo Unveil Striking PUMA Neon Kit for 2026-27 Season

Palermo FC and PUMA have officially unveiled the club’s new 2026-27 Neon Kit, introducing a striking dark design that combines the Rosanero’s history with a bold contemporary look.

Launched under the concept “Old Soul, New Energy”, the new Palermo shirt celebrates the club’s heritage while giving it a distinctly modern identity through neon-inspired colours and the return of a historic crest.

Palermo 2026-27 Neon Kit Design

The Palermo 2026-27 PUMA Neon Kit features a Flat Dark Gray base, providing a dramatic backdrop for accents of Team Light Pink and Electric Peppermint.

These brighter colours have been used to recreate the appearance and energy of neon lighting, with the pink and peppermint detailing particularly prominent around the collar and sleeve cuffs.

PUMA have completed the design with an elegant mandarin-style button collar, giving the shirt an interesting combination of retro football styling and modern streetwear influences.

The Sicily by Car logo appears across the front of the shirt, while additional sponsor branding features on the sleeves. The back remains predominantly dark grey, with PALERMO positioned beneath the collar.

Historic 1987 Palermo Crest Returns

One of the standout features of the new Palermo Neon Kit is the return of the club’s 1987 crest.

The historic badge returns during the season marking its 40th anniversary and features a shield with diagonal sections alongside an eagle facing towards the right, symbolising forward movement.

For the 2026-27 Neon Kit, the crest has been given a modern makeover. PUMA have simplified the design and presented it in a monochrome style without lettering, allowing the historic emblem to fit seamlessly into the contemporary appearance of the shirt.

It is a particularly nice touch and perfectly represents the “Old Soul, New Energy” theme behind the kit.

Dark Grey Meets Palermo Pink

Palermo are famous throughout world football for their distinctive pink and black colours, but the Neon Kit offers a different interpretation of that identity.

Rather than making pink the dominant colour, PUMA have used the dark grey body as the foundation of the design before introducing flashes of Palermo pink and Electric Peppermint.

The result is a shirt that remains immediately associated with Palermo while looking significantly different from a traditional Rosanero kit.

The neon-inspired launch photography also emphasises the concept, with pink lighting surrounding the players and highlighting the contrasting details of the shirt.
