Oxford United Reveal New Badge

Kit news from League One as Oxford United have revealed a new badge to mark the clubs 125th anniversary.

The club was formed on October 27th 1893 when Dr Robert Hitchings held a meeting at the Britannia pub in Headington to give the local village cricketers a sporting activity to compete in during the winter months when they couldn’t play cricket.

Headington as they were known at the time played in blue and orange stripes and so the club have used subtle pinstripes on the new badge to honour the clubs first kit.

The new Oxford United 125th Anniversary kit 2018-19 featuring the new badge will be worn for the final home game of the season against Rochdale.
