Football kit news from Sky Bet League One as a limited edition Oxford United shirt has been revealed to mark the clubs 125th Anniversary.
Oxford United were formed back in 1893 as Headington United and so the limited edition shirt sees the original colours of orange and black used as well as the Headington United crest on the left breast.
The predominantly orange jersey which has a black stripe running along the top of each shoulder has a black Puma logo but will not feature the clubs shirt sponsor logos.
Only 125 shirts have been produced, one for each year since the club was formed. The represented year will be embroidered on the bottom right corner of the football shirt making each one unique although they will cost £75 each!
The clubs supporters are not happy with the one off shirt as one fan @Andy_Hawkes posted the following image on Twitter.
Oxford United will wear their 125th Anniversary shirt against Shrewsbury Town this Saturday.
