Football kit news from Ligue 1 in France as the new Olympique Marseille 2020-21 Puma third kit that will be worn during European fixtures has been officially unveiled.
The 2020-21 Olympique Marseille third kit is inspired by Marseille’s hip hop scene and sees blue tonal waves circling around the fizzy yellow club crest getting larger and covering the front of the football shirt.
The tonal blue waves represent ‘oscillations of sound in the air created by music and is also reminiscent of heartbeats.’
A fizzy yellow Puma logo is placed on the right breast whilst the Uber Eats shirt sponsor is coloured white.
Both the back half of the collar and the sleeves are coloured blue.
The Olympique Marseille third jersey 2020-21 is equipped with a NFC chip inside the embroidered ‘111 BPM’ badge in the bottom left corner of the front.
The ‘111 BPM’ represents the 111 districts of Marseille and ‘Battlements Per Minute’.
The back of the jersey is predominantly blue although the top of the back is a darker shade of blue.
Fizzy yellow ‘Marseille’ text appears on the back of the neck.
Blue shorts and socks complete the Marseille third kit 2020-21 made by Puma.
