Kit news from the Championship as Norwich City have announced that their shirts will feature the Norfolk and Waveney Mind logo for this weekend’s fixture against Preston North End to raise awareness ahead of World Mental Health Day on Monday October 10th.

Main shirt sponsor Lotus Cars have donated their space on the front of the Norwich shirts to the local charity.
Lotus Cars Group VP and managing director Matt Windle said: “We were so impressed with the work that Norwich City has done in support of mental health awareness so far, particularly with the launch of this year’s home kit.
“As the front of shirt sponsor this season, we at Lotus really wanted to be involved in the next opportunity to show our support for the local community on such an important cause.
“Even if just one person reaches out to Mind after seeing their logo on the shirt, then it has been a successful initiative.”
Norwich City head coach Dean Smith said: “Since I joined this football club, I’ve been really proud of some of the wider work that the club does in and around its community and activation campaigns. This afternoon, we thank Lotus for gifting the front of shirt sponsorship position to Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
“As a club, we’ve been really proactive in pushing the important message of mental health. Ahead of World Mental Health Takeover Day on October 10 and following on from some of our recent activity, we wanted to use this fixture to highlight some of the excellent work that the team at Norfolk and Waveney Mind deliver in and around the region.”
