New Portsmouth FC Crest Revealed

SkyBet League Two side Portsmouth FC have revealed a new simplified club crest to be worn on their kits from the 2015/16 season onwards.

Pompey decided to change their crest after a fan survey which saw 55% of almost 5000 fans vote for the 1912 style crest whilst 26% would have liked to keep the current design and 18% wanted a totally new badge.

So the new Portsmouth badge is based on that used by the club back in 1912 although the five pointed star is replaced with an eight sided one and it features subtle shading.
