News from the English Premier League as the Manchester United 2019-20 Adidas home kit has today been officially unveiled, confirming the previous leaked images on The Kitman.
The 2019-20 Manchester United home jersey is inspired by that worn by the 1999 Manchester United Champions League Winners.
The new Manchester United home shirt 2019-20 is predominantly red with black trim on the collar and a black Adidas logo on the right breast.
A black and gold Manchester United badge is placed on the left breast, taking inspiration from the badge worn by the 1999 Champions League Winners.
The subtle Adidas stripes on the shoulders and the trim on the cuffs are a slightly darker shade of red.
In another nod to the 1999 Champions League Winners are the goal times that are placed on the bottom of the sleeves.
On the left sleeve is a black rectangular box with white ’90+3′ numbering whilst on the left sleeve is ’90+1′. Above the goal time on the left sleeve is the Kohler sleeve sponsor coloured white.
On the bottom left corner of the front is subtle black ‘Treble Winners BCN 26 05 1999’ lettering.
Inside the neckline another is reference to the treble winners with the dates they won the trophies, 6 May (Premier League), 22 May (FA Cup) and 26 May (Champions League).
Black shorts with white socks complete the home Manchester United kit 2019-20.
