The Kitman brings you news from the English Premier League today as it’s been revealed that the usual Liverpool shirt sponsor Standard Chartered will be replaced with the ‘Global Goals’ logo against Aston Villa for tomorrow’s fixture at Anfield.
Global Goals logo will appear on Liverpool 2015-16 home jerseys made by New Balance to help raise awareness of poverty, injustice and tackle climate change by 2030.
Standard Chartered are a founding member of Global Goals and over recent weeks have combined with Liverpool FC in a number of activities including Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez taking penalties in the Dizzy Goals challenge and Kolo Toure taking part in the World’s Largest Lesson.
Liverpool will be giving away five of the special Global Goals match worn shirts over the next few days.
