News from England as Liverpool have announced that the current kit deal with New Balance has been extended by a further two months due to the Premier League being suspended due to Covid-19.

The existing deal was set to expire on May 31st 2020 but the club, New Balance and incoming kit manufacturer Nike have agreed mutually that the deal will be extended a further two months ending on 31st July 2020.

If the extension wasn’t agreed it could have seen Liverpool lifting the Premier League trophy wearing the 2020-21 Nike kit despite playing the majority of the season in New Balance kits.
